I find a lot of concentration and peace in cooking up a meal. Even if i do have to enjoy it by myself!
I have had my eye on a Spaghetti Frittata recipe for quite some time. But, you need a pan that can go in the oven. Pans can go in the oven?…news to me! I was too worried that my pans handles would melt/burn/cause a mess so I waited until I found one I could borrow!
I had all the ingredients…even fresh spinach! Spaghetti Frittata time it was!
I was racing around the kitchen making sure my garlic didn’t burn (definitely ruins my meal plans when I do that) while chopping spinach, mixing eggs, and throwing salt over my shoulder!
I like that feeling. The feeling I get with total chaos that all happens to come together into a delicious meal.
Maybe I am the only one who is running around the kitchen like a chicken with its head cut off. I mean I do watch those tv shows on food network. They cook and talk at the same time! If you decide to talk to me while I am cooking up a feast…I might just snap at you. Concentration at its finest, don’t disturb the chef!
As it came out of the oven, i squealed with delight! It looked delicious. So I couldn’t wait to indulge, after I snapped a few photographs of course.
I had to show this picture so you could see the chef’s excitement. Unfortunately, it looks like a blurry pan of pizza with a ratty ol’ oven mitt.
Ahhh, yes. Now I can see the crumbles of parmesan cheese a top the bubbling frittata filled with fresh spinach, tomatoes, and noodles.
