In a previous post I mentioned my desire to make a Strawberry Jello Pie.
I like strawberries. I like jello. I like pie! How could this go wrong?!?!
Well, I suppose it didn’t go wrong anywhere. It just wasn’t as thrilling as I hoped for. I decided to add blueberries to it as well. So, my strawberry & blueberry jello pie came out looking beautiful. It wasn’t a blob like my title suggests. It stuck together nicely.
But for some reason, it just didn’t have me running back for seconds. My boyfriend and I both agree that we think it has to do with the crust. The crust was not sweet enough for the sweetness of the fruit and jello. It tasted kind of…strange? …Maybe because I cheated and used a pre-made graham crust. Don’t judge me.
I took a picture of it..but the only camera I had available was my phone. I don’t have a fancy smart phone..so this results in an ugly picture.

If you so desire to try this for yourself, I would recommend sticking to the recipe. Make your own crust…or something.
