Fitness. It’s something that feels great, but takes so much dang motivation. I get emails and comments all the time asking how I stick with it. Well friends, I definitely have my bad weeks. I’m not a go to the gym everyday girl. But there are some things that I use to keep me motivated and I wanted to share 3 motivational fitness tips with you today!
First off, I just came across this new app called Motion Traxx. It basically a personal cardio trainer right there with you. You pick the workout (treadmill, cycling, elliptical, etc.) and you pick the amount of time. I’ve been starting with 20 minutes on the treadmill. It comes up with a workout and a trainer talks you through it. For example, one workout was run for 4 minutes, sprint 1 minute, repeat 4 times. It doesn’t sound hard and it’s not, but it’s nice to have a trainer in your ear pushing you to keep going and to increase your speed. Plus there’s music in the background so you can run with the beat. Your first 5 workouts are free!
Second, Spotify running playlist. I typically like to have a playlist to run to and usually it needs to be songs that I really like to keep me motivated. But for some reason, the Blissed Out Spotify Running Playlist is gold. I’m so into it and even though the songs don’t have words, it pushes me to increase my speed with the beat changes.
Motivational fitness tip #3, cute workout clothes. This is always on my list! 😉 I can’t help it, there are SO many cute items out there and I want them all. Currently I’m all about the brand Onzie. If you look good, you’ll feel good. I can’t say that enough. If you are comfortable in what you are wearing and confident in what you are wearing, it’ll show. This sunburst Onzie sports bra pictured above has been glued to me ever since I got it. Seriously, I wear it with everything and even when I’m not working out. It’s supportive, comfortable, and cute!
