With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I’m whipping up all sorts of things I love. What do I love more than chocolate? …absolutely nothing.
So, that’s why I’m sharing a recipe for some chocolate ice cubes. There is something incredible about a refreshing cold glass of milk. But now imagine that milk with a splash of chocolate goodness! These chocolate ice cubes are heavenly in a glass of milk and would work perfect for Valentine’s day morning or a Galentine’s Day get together. If you’re anything like my friends and I, you will consider adding a splash of Baileys to the milk for an adult drink!
How do you spend your Valentine’s Day? Is it a day to celebrate with friends, family or your SO?!
- 3/4 cup Milk (I used 1%)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- In a medium saucepan, bring all the ingredients, except the chocolate chips, to a low simmer and stir well.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
- Cool for a few minutes before pouring into an ice cube tray.
- Freeze and enjoy!
